I like it on top. 

I've found myself saying something over and over again lately. I feel SO ON TOP OF THINGS. I feel so empowered. I feel like I'm tackling so much. I'm climbing higher and higher. And, even though I can always go higher, it feels AWESOME to feel on top of things, instead of buried and lost.

I've always ALWAYS loved this song-- the words rock and yes, I can even dig Miley Cyrus. (Danielle, this one is for you.)

Truth.

Today was awesome. I got up, did a killer workout in my hotel room after having a solid breakfast-- eggs with a bit of potatoes and one itsy bit of coffee-- y'all, I still have not had diet soda in like 5 weeks now!! No wheat (bread, processed) etc. And no I cannot believe I am even TYPING this but I'm actually cutting back on CAFFEINE to promote my sleep. I hate saying that. I believe caffeine is my friend but if I have to be that person that doesn't have it after 2pm so I can not take Excedrin PM every night to go to bed, if that helps, so be it. I'll use that money to buy shoes.

Do You Want Some Candy?

NO candy here sillypants! The only candy I'm having is something like THAT! Gimmee a high five fist pump combo. ;-) 

That's right bitches!~!! It's like 9pm on Thursday and I just finished my workout. SOOOO tired from today and yet, I kept thinking of what I would tell you all. What reason is good enough to NOT use my healthy body and my two legs that can walk and my two arms that can lift and my whole body that can jump and run? UM no excuses.

I owned it. Sweatfest. Did all kinds of mad plyo in my condo, then did back and biceps with TRX and some free weights plus I threw in some Ultimate Sandbag Training. LOVE MY SANDBAG. OMG! I was a little inspired by this post on their blog: CLICK HERE

Monday Manjoyment!

Happy Monday Kittens! How was your weekend? Mine ROCKED. 

And now I want to go surfing. 

Ahh Matthew. You make even me want to date a hippie boy for a few months at least. 

I'm getting in a better groove every day. I'm making time for myself and it shows. I actually made up a daily checklist today- I'm printing it out every day and marking off my morning stuff: Breakfast, prayer/meditation/workout/plank- THEN I can start work. And then for my workouts, I wrote out my cardio, my body parts to focus on (so I don't keep only doing my favs like shoulders and biceps haha)....and after SXSW I will be training with Electra at least once a week so watch out. 

OMG. 

I love this surfboard so much. 

Awkward pause. Excuse me while I purge my usual Monday unclean thoughts.

As you notice in my vlog I've finally remembered to share links to the companies I mention. In this one I talked about Kamagon Ball and my new ULTIMATE SANDBAG Training System. So YUMMY. I'm doing a little sandbag circuit and the Kamagon Ball, Ultimate Sandbag, and TRX will be coming with us on the FitFluential Road Trip to Austin for SXSW!! Stay tuned for a boatload of videos of fitness fun on the road-- March 5-16th. ;-)

LOVE IT. That girl has great quads. Seriously. 

You know what I like about Matthew? He's all about all kinds of fitness- running, surfing, and yoga. He makes it part of his lifestyle and it shows. I mean, it's a big goal of mine this year and beyond to get more dudes to see the benefits and badasseryness of Yoga. 

See that bottom stretch? That's the one that kills me in yoga-- whenever we do it I have to use a block. I have such tight hips but we are working on that. I have tight hips NOW. I am changing them. As I am changing my body daily. ;-) 

And now, I must go. Book a flight to Miami. DANG. I need beach time.
