Dude. 

I love Plyometrics. I really do. Today I did P90X Plyometrics and it was yummy fun as usual. Have you tried it yet? OH Sweet mother of God- I kid you not, I was not planning this, I just went to YouTube to search for a video on P90X Plyo to show you and this gem came across my path:

Ok, perhaps some of you recall that I have shared some thoughts on Jim Rome before. Like the fact that I wish he was my baby daddy. Like I'd really like to burn some calories with him. Like, he makes me shudder and not in the gross creepy way, when freaks in airports stalk me and ask me inappropriate questions like, "What color is your bra??? hehehe" #FAIL I.Want.To.Go.To.There. 

Don't you think Jim and I make a good couple? 

Look. It's Jim Rome on top of Kelly Olexa. WHAT? This is the kind of blog post my mom will read and just shake her head and say, "Kelly don't say those dirty words!" Sorry Mom. I have unclean thoughts occasionally. 

What was I saying? I forgot. Oh PLYOMETRICS. Anyway, so I did the workout, although when it got to the last bonus round- there were some sports inspired moves that used the arms- so, I kind of made up my own stuff. Thus I didn't do the full 55 minutes, and yet I burned 455 calories. I bet if Jim was here I'd burn a lot more calories. In fact I probably wouldn't be blogging right now I would be EDITED EDITED EDITED EDITED.

Dr. Kelly here showing you that I believe it is my DELTOPECTORAL muscle that I jacked- doing a hammer curl with 20lb dumbbells and using momentum at the end of my workout- #FAIL on all accounts. Go easy Kelly- again- demonstration of me in the past trying to do TOO MUCH TOO FAST. Simmer down Olexa, simmer DOWN!

I will say that today, I am feeling 50% better in that area- and I made sure to not go, "oh I feel better now, let's kick it!" Nope. Took it easy on arm movements. And I think Jim Rome is coming over tonight to give me a massage. WHAT? Where was I?

HAHAHAHA. Dude. 

Gotta run kittens. I'm on a plane tomorrow, back on Friday. I'm packing my workout clothes and sticking with the mostly cardio plan for this week. Tomorrow morning I will workout at home, outta here at 11am, workout tomorrow morning, and then Friday morning before I head home. ;-) You don't think I will? 

WATCH ME.

What's that? Oh that's me in Miami like a year ago. I was SO pissed that week because my bikini was so much tighter and I thought the fishermen on the beach might think I was a beached tan whale but....I've lost weight SINCE then and I will be even MORE buff and bootylicious on my next vacation.....stay tuned for where THAT will be, cuz we might do a group blogger getaway and one of you lucky kittens might get to GO! BOOYA!!! Now- keep thinking about yourself in a bikini each time you don't wanna workout. That pretty much does it for me. A true sign of success in the future will be me posting a TOTAL bikini picture of myself- maybe not even SUCKING IN. Oh Heavens. That will be nice. ;-)

TGIF!!!

Hey Kids!! HAPPY FRIDAY!! WOOT! How was your day?? Mine was fantastic!! I'm SO excited, there is just so much awesome stuff coming up that I'll be sharing with you.....stay tuned, that's all I can say!! 

I had a killer workout this morning- did some P90X Plyo followed by some Cathe Butts N Guts- one of my all time favorites. Overall it was a 700+ calorie burn sweatfest! I'm pleased as pie. I mean, protein. ;-)

Tomorrow I have a long run scheduled and am very excited!! Then I'm heading over to Miss Amy's house for some Halloween festivities. That woman just rocks my life. Seriously, it's like God sent her down on wings of....whoa, that sounded deep even for me.

Have you kids incorporated Plyometrics in your routines?? Let me tell you, it is wonderful. A lot of Cathe's HIIT workouts are plyo, the Insanity workouts are mostly Plyo, and even figure competitors use plyo sets in between weight sets to keep the heart rate up and the sweat flowing.

You get the idea- TONS of ways to incorporate plyo into your routine and for that matter, get a great sweat on even if you are on the road! You can do plyo in your hotel room! A few key home gym items and you can take it up a few notches at home. Or outside. Kids- go to YouTube and do some searching on Plyometrics- a buttload of videos FREE. Enjoy.

Sweetness. 

Hey Kids!! How's your weekend going? ;-) I just finished a killer awesome P90X Plyo workout. Whoa. I'm so loving this. I love HARD TOUGH CARDIO! Before this, the only real killer cardio I had found was old school Taebo (and those are only on GASP VHS! well you can get a few of the greatest hits on DVD but Billy seems to only make Beginner/Intermediate Cardio lately. Sadness.) Recently, I told you all how much I am enjoying the new kettlebell workouts on DVD and also the kickboxing DVDs from Iliana. Wow those rock. And now P90X and NOW INSANITY!!! WooT!! 

It feels so good to have crushed a great workout today. Now, it's time for a massage and then dinner and a movie- Gerard Butler HELLO. ;-) Manoliciousness.

You all have a great weekend. And remember; MAKE PROGRESS NOT EXCUSES. NO LAME GAME HERE!

Thursday ROCKS.

WORK IT CATHE!! This is dedicated to Cathe and also to my earlier P90X Plyometrics workout. Lots of Jumping like a fool. Quite enjoyable. I'm sure my neighbors below me disagree. Whatever. I've dealt with that blasted dog for a year. They can deal with Plyometrics for an hour a few days a week.

I'm late. I'm late. But- busy day as usual. Enjoy today's random vloggy-ness.
