Did you think you tuned into the Spice Channel? (and by the way, I seriously did not even know that such a thing existed until I said it as a joke and found out from some dudes that the Spice Channel is apparently an "adult entertainment" forum. *Ahem*)
Why is this photo of KO up here? Because I'm shallow and want to fish for compliments? Likely.
But....there is a reason. And it is related to the SECOND HALF OF THIS YEAR, OF 2010.
The above picture is one of many from my first photo-shoot with my amazing photographer Ms. Abigail Harenberg @abbyharenberg. This woman is soooo talented. And clearly knows how to buff out the bad stuff in an un-retouched photo!! haha
Anyway, these shots were done like a year ago I think, and I remember how ungodly uncomfortable I was because I felt SO FAT. Now- since this time, I've lost that first chunk of weight, most of it has happened very recently after incorporating the ESE principles into my "diet" or way of eating.
Now......I have another photo-shoot coming up here in about 6 weeks. This photo-shoot is for publicity stills for my book, for my new website and for me being shallow as well. I'm NOT doing another photo-shoot where I want to hide any part of me. Period.
So, the timing of this photo-shoot coming up PLUS the fact that we are NOW right at the mid-point of 2010 means it is perfect timing to really TAKE THINGS UP A NOTCH.
I'm ready to take what I've learned and incorporated with my diet and with my workouts over the past 6 months and really bring it all together. Do everything better that I was doing before. Add more. Improve where I was lacking. Take it up a notch. Track everything. Plan in advance. More variety. Do things that scare me. REACH THE TARGET.
I talked with my KICK BUTT GIRLFRIEND AMY (who you will meet soon because she rocks) today and she has started running recently. I did some running when I was in the gym a year or so ago but I kept giving up because of cramping issues. I'm tired of not running because I'm scared I can't do it. I'm going to give it all I've got. I cannot be the only person on this earth not built to run.
I think CLEARLY a fabulous sports bra is in order- Amy suggests Under Armour. And running shoes too. Tell me your suggestions.
I'm going to start running. I will share my running progress with you all daily! Tell me I can do it.
And so, starting today (although because I was still pretty much sick today until just now at 11pm.....I didn't do a workout today....), we are in PHASE KICK IT UP A NOTCH.
I'm going to eat the way I know works best for me to lose weight. (I know what works now. I know it.) I'm going to PLAN my workouts so I don't miss them because my work-life is so insane. I'm going to be accountable to you all on what I do. And I'm putting it out there about my photo-shoot because I plan to have some serious AB SHOTS taken. I'm not putting it off until December. I have everything I need to be successful. No Excuses.
NO EXCUSES. After all, My Name is Kelly and that means = WARRIOR. Did you know that?
