Monday Manjoyment! And Day 1 of 1KO21.

This is actually a bit of a dorky pose for a dude, but I'm not going to let it bother me. Hello Joshykins. ;-)
You all feel FREE to nominate new Monday Manjoyment dudes- only I try to feature dudes that workout and have fitness on their mind, mkay? No wusses.
I love how Josh always goes running with his woman and NOTE he actually wears his wedding ring! Sad how odd it is to see that. I digress.

I'm back from LA after spending the majority of yesterday in the airport- our flight was delayed over an hour and that was annoying as heck. The whole time I was in LA I was rather technology/blogging-handicapped in that you JUST CANNOT DO WITH AN IPAD what we do with our PC or Laptops. I didn't think I would use a laptop anymore - whoa, was I wrong. I was left wanting and whining all weekend, like when you find a pair of fabulous shoes and they don't have your size and you want them SO badly you are actually tempted to buy the wrong size because they are THAT hot but then you know you shouldn't so that just pisses you off even MORE....WHAT? Oh digression again.
I have some FUN vlogs processing right now with me and my BFF Carla- from MizFitOnline.com.
You will seriously enjoy them, we had such a good time. I also got to spend more one on one time with the most lovely and talented Valerie Waters, who is just a PEACH. I wuvs her so much.

He is barkworthy for sure.
Anyway- I am definitely DEFINITELY going to see a physical therapist this week for my shoulder. It's pretty bad and pretty ANNOYING. So I'll update you on that later. I also have made a commitment to myself to focus really hard on MAKING THESE HABITS of mine that have not been habits-- back into ROCK SOLID HABITS. This is what is the missing ingredient for me people and I cannot NOT make this my priority, otherwise I'll just continue to be a fitness blogger who loves fitness and working out and getting fit, but puts it 4th place in her life because she's acting like a workaholic again. NO WAY.

Josh is fitting it in. I need to fit him it in. So-- today is Day One of "1KO21" meaning-- the first of many KO21 challenges, where I focus on specific goals/habits to work on for 21 days. The goal is to make things a HABIT 100%. My working out was always a habit, it was never an issue fitting it in. I've allowed it to be an issue fitting it in and that has to change- and I'm not waiting to make a dang New Year's Resolution for it. Are YOU? When you figure out your mistakes, START NOW to fix them. I'm sharing this here because I have to be REALLY public about how serious I am. Carla is going to push me to get my workouts in every morning. Everything else can be addressed AFTER noon. Period.

I couldn't find many more yummy photos of our friend Josh-- but clearly he and his wife make fitness something that they do all the time. IT shows. I'm also going to get Carla do ok that I share my "interview" with her from LA. It was insightful to me in so many ways. You'll love hearing it too, I know it.
Here is my vlog that I wanted to make public over the weekend, so it's from last week, but I'll put the vlog I shot today up- probably tomorrow morning. ;-)
Honestly, y'all. I think that making my fitness back into the habit that it used to be - is going to boost my results in a big way. I've been operating, realistically, at 50% for A LONG TIME NOW. My desire to do 100% has always been strong, and yea, I don't give up but it's time to OWN IT. Freaking sick of talking about it! My "diet" has really been pretty darn good. I'm not eating sporadically (although I am going to work on eating the smaller meals throughout the day, instead of allowing so much time between meals....) and I'm not eating "bad" foods at all. I think two key points are needed for me- get back to 6x a week no matter WHAT and then watching that eating after dinner. ;-)
Question of the Day: I'm stumped with some vegetable preparation- how do you like your veggies? In salads? cold? Hot? How do you make veggies? I love them but I'm soooo bored with steamed broccoli! It also makes my house smell like a** as well.
