SWEET. It's Friday!!!!

Are you loving the journey? I am. I mean, how can you NOT get excited to see progress every day? How can you not love doing things you thought you could never do? How can you not love toughing it out and crushing a killer workout when earlier you TOTALLY didn't feel like it and felt too tired and yet you OWNED IT?

Start a snowball effect. And I'm not talking about the weather. 

Commit to getting the most FIT you've ever been. Commit to making each day count. Commit to making each week better than the last. Commit to being a showoff about your butt-kicking. Commit to amazing yourself. Commit to NEVER UNDERESTIMATING YOURSELF. 

No Limits. 

My mistakes are behind me. Yea, I'm gonna make mistakes in the future. But I get up a whole lot faster than I did before. I tough it out a whole lot longer than I did before. I try things that scare me a whole lot sooner than I did before. I give in to fear a whole lot less than I did before. 

Question of the Day: What are YOU leaving behind for good? (Bad habits, bad attitudes, fears etc.) 

I'm really proud of myself yesterday. Kids, we have to recognize the mini-successes every day. Why? Because it's the mini-successes that add up to KICKING ARSE. Yesterday I was slammed with work and I had a 7:30pm dinner meeting. I "snuck in" a 45 minute sweatfest of Ilaria's BodyStrikes. What makes this a success? MANY MANY TIMES in the past, I would have thought I didn't have enough time, I would've made ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES to not workout....but I'm not having that anymore. EVERY DAY COUNTS. EVERY EFFORT COUNTS. 

I always ask myself now-- KELLY, ARE YOU TAKING THE EASY WAY OUT OR OWNING IT?? WHICH ONE IS IT?

Realize that every day you have choices to TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND BE LAME or CONQUER it and kick butt. Ask yourself- do I want to be dang proud of myself at the end of the day or feeling guilty that I took the easy loafer's way out? 

DON'T BE LAME. GET IN THE GAME.

I KNOW RIGHT! Bad MIA Blogger Award!

I need to get my yoga on tomorrow. Hey Kittens. Forgive your Aunt Kelly for being a belated blogger girl this week. I'm still out here in beautiful Park City, UT for the EVO Conference. Having a WONDERFUL power packed time and am in awe at some new bloggers that I've met. My life is crazed but so good.

And, I've been keeping my workout mojo going. Much better this week for a travel-week. So I shared with you that my first workout was a made-up circuit on my hotel room patio with resistance bands and my TRX. That was killer. Then the next day (yesterday) I did a 15 minute power walk (only stopped because it was raining in the morning) followed by Ilaria's BodyStrikes 2.

LOVE This workout- it is NON-STOP. Killer. Today I did simply a 30 minute power walk- which is less than I wanted to do but the day did get away from me, as we had a conference dinner this evening. And OMG what fun. Bush's Beans was one of the primary sponsors here and they had some INCREDIBLE recipes, including, get this, a Pinto Bean Pie. Sounds, um, questionable? NO. I kid you not kittens- it tasted like Pecan Pie! NO JOKE!! Scrumptious. Now I want to make their recipe for Black Bean Brownies....Word.

OH. HELLO did I mention that I also met my new BFF Jeffrey Saad? If you recall, I was VERY stressed out and upset when Jeffrey did NOT win Season 5 of The Next Food Network Star but that's FINE because now he has a fantastic new show on The Cooking Channel, which I LOVE MORE now than Food Network (I call it the VH1 of cooking TV--- because it seems like Food Network features more of the competitive cooking shows not the uber cool COOKING shows like many of my favorites: Emeril, Michael Chiarello, Nigella, and Jeffrey's show, see below)

So Jeffrey also works with Bush's Beans and The Incredible Edible Egg- and see this little gem I found on YouTube about how to make the PERFECT HARD BOILED EGGS. Hello Fitness peeps--- we make a lotta hard boiled eggs don't we?? ;-)

So of course I told Jeffrey how awesome he is- you can follow him on Twitter @jeffreysaad and -- he has a new book out in 2012. And then I told Jeffrey how our Fitfluential Family would LOVE to see him cook at one of our California events and he was all like, "Oh YEA Kelly O I'd be down with that!" but of course he said it in his laid-back California dude style. He had his gorgeous wife Nadia with him and they are both just VERY VERY NICE Peeps. I can't wait to see Jeffrey gain more exposure because he so deserves it. 

So-- tomorrow I am hoping to get in some local Hot Yoga (yummy!)- QUESTION OF THE DAY: What's your Saturday workout?

Now. I am off to bed, and will be back tomorrow with hopefully some vlog footage and guest gab sessions with @skinnyjeans and @bookieboo and more. Werd. Up.
