Oh Yes.

What is UP with this trend- whether it's in fitness modeling photos or Victoria's Secret catalogs or whatever- these poses where it looks like, "I'm about to take my drawers off..." WHAT THE...? I mean, really? Seriously? So stupid. Regardless, I was doing a bit of Gina's shoulder routine today, so hence the photo tribute. Maybe Gina had some bronzer issues in this photo-shoot and was trying to fix it? Poor Gina.
So, I'm back! Let me tell you, I was in DC for a quickie trip and it was like 85 degrees there! Then yesterday I had a slight travel day from hell. I was on standby for an earlier flight, then I get to the airport to find that all flights were delayed into Chicago due to storms. So.....I wait. I wait. I wait. I got a meal at the airport that TOTALLY made me sick (EWWW!) and then they get us all on the plane....so we can sit on the runway for an HOUR. That's right an hour. At that moment I was cursing myself that I had nothing in my purse to eat cuz Aunt Flo was with me and we were both very interested in some food. Anyway, I get to ORD around 10pm and when I step outside to wait for my driver- BAM! 38 degrees!! What the heck?? Yes, I went from 85 degrees to 38 degrees. I was standing outside in my sassy open-toed sandals and light spring trench-coat. BRRRR!! By the time I got home it was 11pm. Welcome to my exciting glamorous life. NOT.
Enough whining Kelly.
So, today I've been slammed with work and had to do an early evening workout. You know this drives me crazy but I'M NOT GONNA WHINE. Longer than a sentence. ;-) I did Cathe's HIIT Double Wave Pyramid workout for the first time. See the clip below. This was my first time doing THIS HIIT workout of Cathe's and it is hard- in 25 minutes I burned 235 calories. So, I'd say all of Cathe's HIIT workouts burn about the same 225-275 calories in 25-30 minutes. I like to do these when I'm doing a heavy weight day, and today was shoulders. I did some nice heavy isolation training and it felt AWESOME!! Burned 500 calories! WOOT!

I love Wal-Mart. Haven't been in ages but the last great workout tops I bought that were not racerback were at Wal-Mart!
