It's All In Your Head.

A couple of my favorite quotes are: "To Get What You've Never Had, You Must Do What You've Never Done." (an interpretation of a quote by Albert Einstein) and "Whether You Think You Can, or You Think You Can't, You're Right." (Henry Ford).

Why am I titling this post "It's All In Your Head"? -- because it is very true, and any of us can try to make excuses or blame circumstances, but the truth is, our ability to succeed is all in our head. If we haven't reached our goal, it's not our job's fault. It's not our schedule's fault. It's not our husband's fault or our wife's fault or our kids' fault. It's OUR FAULT for not figuring out how to do what we need to do WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF OUR OWN LIFE to make results happen.

I saw this today on Tara's Tumblr blog. This is so IT for me right now. I can moan and groan about "Oh Lord, look how busy I am and it's so overwhelming blah blah blah". SHUT UP AND FIX IT KELLY. No one can fix your schedule FOR YOU. It's not THAT earth shattering of an idea to adjust your dang schedule so you get your workout in. Set a TIMER so you remember to eat if you realize that you are eating sporadically and not in a healthy balance. Take control of your days instead of letting your days control you.

Check out this great video about Crossfit. Do you think most people that started Crossfit thought they could do all of that? I'm betting many were totally overwhelmed. But they stopped making excuses for why they thought they couldn't do it. They JUMPED IN and STARTED.

Enough Talk. Time for action. I'm off to crush my workout. I did Hot Yoga yesterday for the first time in like 10 days and it was heaven. My body is a gift to me and I will treat it that way. Work will always be there and now I have help. I need to delegate and calm down. God has brought me this far and opened up the WORLD to me with this business and I need to trust that He has a plan. Stop trying to fit 80 hours into each day.....it isn't worth it. ;-)

Here is this morning's Ramble-On-A-Thon for your enjoyment:

Question of the Day: What's YOUR workout today?
