For My Chicago Peeps!

There are universal themes in our lives that remain true. Right ladies? (Men, don't worry, much of this can apply to you too, don't pout!) We love to spend time with our girlfriends (men, mostly talking about you all), we love to look fabulous and we love to SHOP. Big time. Am I right? 

As a blogger, I'm approached by many a company asking for me to review or try out their products or services. I'm always selective and only will do so for anything that I'm really genuinely interested in. And, when I "review" it, I will always give not only full disclosure, but also my honest opinion. No one will pay me to something that isn't true, or is the opposite of what I really feel. So, over the past several months I have noticed all of my friends and colleagues raving about these great deals they are getting- for anything from massages to manicures to boutiques to furniture from these "Deal of the Day" type companies. I was not a part of it in the past, just never really looked into it. 

So, I had a request locally from "Daily Deal Chicago" to check them out. They launch on August 1st, so this is chance to get in the door early on their deals. At present, they are running a $100.00 Apple.com Gift card giveaway for those that sign up for the email deals now. Coolness. 

There are other sites out there with similar concepts, but they require a minimum # of vouchers purchased to get the daily deal, where Daily Deal Chicago, you get what you see. The deals are live from the minute they are on the site, no waiting around and wondering.
