Dear Friday, I love thee. 

Happy Friday Kittens!! I realized after I posted yesterday that I haven't shared my workouts from this week- although hopefully I post each day on Daily Mile which you can see updated to the right on my blog daily. ;-)

Today, I am doing Taebo. I told you guys that when I found out my shoulder was injured as significantly as it was and that I couldn't do upper body weights, I started doing some old-school Taebo DVDs and got hooked again. I just really love Taebo. And I'm NOT going to the Kelly of the past two years and worry, "Oh is this too low of a heart-rate cardio? Is this too long? Should I only be doing HIIT or intervals or High Intensity?" NOPE. No more obsessiveness like that. 

My new motto: DO WHAT YOU LOVE TO DO. And keep doing it. I like to kick and punch and be as bada** as I can. Therefore, I do just that. ;-)

My shoulder IS getting better. I've been focusing this week on doing some upper body training using small small weight and working up. Steve Pfiester told me to do that and just see if I am sore and needing ice at night. If not, progress and keep moving up slowly.

Here is my ramble-on-a-thon from Wednesday actually. Sorry y'all. Bear with me. Shooting more this weekend. 

So- Tuesday I did Ilaria's Bodystrikes DVD (clearly an all time favorite of mine) followed by some Upper Body. Then Wednesday I did Cathe's Lower Body Blast which WAS a blast. 

Yes, my glutes were on FIRE. Holy Cow. Then yesterday I did Jackie Warner's Timesaver Circuit- which always amazes me how much of a workout she pummels into 30 minutes. KILLER. As I shared above, it's Friday and I'm heading into some Billy Blanks time. Then I'm doing my physical therapy moves with the bands and some overall upper body with 5lb weights. 

Tomorrow I'm going back to my lovah, Hot Yoga. It's been too long.

Monday Manjoyment!

Oh Dear. I really LIKE it when Dwayne looks angry. Like he has pent up agression he needs to take out on someone. I can help you with that Dwayne, really. I mean, just to TALK. 

haha I know you don't fall for that from Kelly O do you? You know I am knee deep in unclean thoughts over here right now because Dwayne is totally Bark-Worthy. I mean, he probably created the category. 

Yummy. How would you choose if you had to between Vin and Dwayne and that blonde guy? (I'm not one that normally likes blonde dudes, so he comes last in my book. Now big badass fighter dudes, yes. Talk to me.)

This is pensive Dwayne. He's probably thinking about different things that he and I could ...TALK ABOUT. Yes. Indeed.

Today, y'all I did what I said I would do. I shifted my schedule and got my workout in, during the morning. I went to my ever-expanding library of workout DVDs and chose

Sweet Mother of God, this workout was TOUGH. A Total SWEAT-FEST. 5-Stars on my calendar- I burned 575 calories in 55 minutes. KILLER!! If you've done her Butts N Guts DVD it is that tough, maybe even MORE tough because less little breaks and some heavier weighted options. OMG!!! Killer.

So-- I also made fish tacos for dinner tonight. Obsession revisited. QUESTION OF THE DAY: What is your favorite healthy home-made dinner? 

Yes, that would be my favorite thing to bring home for dinner. WHAT? Oh my, oh goodness there I went again and said something that was questionably tasteful. My Bad. I feel awful about it.

Seriously, now I am SO excited to try out High Reps. And, as I talked about in the vlog, I have total DOMS from the RushFit workout yesterday. Good stuff. ;-)
