Tuesday! Thrills and Chills.

Hey Kids!! How's your week going? Mine is KILLER! WOOT! I did Workout #2 from Insanity and HOLY HECK I was dying! This is, in all seriousness, the hardest cardio I've ever done. If Jay wanted to kick my butt before with cardio, this is the type of stuff he would do in boot camp, but I will say, when Shawn does it, he DOESN'T STOP you just GO AND GO AND GO AND GO AND GO and you will be panting and sweating and heart racing...whoa. I'm blown away. My heart rate was around 165-168 the whole time and I burned 478 calories in 40 minutes. Killer. And no way could I do the whole thing; I stopped several times. Had to.
It IS weird or feels weird to me to be doing such a 'cardio only' focus program but then again, even Jay told me before, if my goal first is to lose fat (I've already built up good muscle so far) then my top focus should be cardio. Back then I was like BLAEEEHHHHH because it meant TREADMILL. BORING. This, this is killer. You just FEEL so awesome doing it, like you are kicking butt and conquering the hardest cardio out there.
