SWEET. It's Friday!!!!

Are you loving the journey? I am. I mean, how can you NOT get excited to see progress every day? How can you not love doing things you thought you could never do? How can you not love toughing it out and crushing a killer workout when earlier you TOTALLY didn't feel like it and felt too tired and yet you OWNED IT?

Start a snowball effect. And I'm not talking about the weather.

Commit to getting the most FIT you've ever been. Commit to making each day count. Commit to making each week better than the last. Commit to being a showoff about your butt-kicking. Commit to amazing yourself. Commit to NEVER UNDERESTIMATING YOURSELF.

No Limits.

My mistakes are behind me. Yea, I'm gonna make mistakes in the future. But I get up a whole lot faster than I did before. I tough it out a whole lot longer than I did before. I try things that scare me a whole lot sooner than I did before. I give in to fear a whole lot less than I did before.

Question of the Day: What are YOU leaving behind for good? (Bad habits, bad attitudes, fears etc.)

I'm really proud of myself yesterday. Kids, we have to recognize the mini-successes every day. Why? Because it's the mini-successes that add up to KICKING ARSE. Yesterday I was slammed with work and I had a 7:30pm dinner meeting. I "snuck in" a 45 minute sweatfest of Ilaria's BodyStrikes. What makes this a success? MANY MANY TIMES in the past, I would have thought I didn't have enough time, I would've made ALL KINDS OF EXCUSES to not workout....but I'm not having that anymore. EVERY DAY COUNTS. EVERY EFFORT COUNTS.

I always ask myself now-- KELLY, ARE YOU TAKING THE EASY WAY OUT OR OWNING IT?? WHICH ONE IS IT?

Remember this video-- this is when I shared that mindset:

Realize that every day you have choices to TAKE THE EASY WAY OUT AND BE LAME or CONQUER it and kick butt. Ask yourself- do I want to be dang proud of myself at the end of the day or feeling guilty that I took the easy loafer's way out?

DON'T BE LAME. GET IN THE GAME.

Wow, I'm all about snappy rhymes today aren't I? Feeling sassy.

Here is my post-workout sweat-fest vlog from yesterday evening:

I really must meet Ilaria and have her become my BFF and a FitFluential Ambassador. I'm rather obsessed with her workouts. She is BAD. Ass.

Have you tried her DVDs yet? Holy Sweatfest. Here's a peek:

Allrightythen. Now- it's the holiday weekend peeps. Hot Yoga tomorrow morning. I cannot WAIT! Martin, where are you? Pedaling through a 200 mile workout? ;-)

Hi Kelly the Tenacious Difference Maker!

Where am I? I wrote quite a lot of comments last week, so I thought it would be nice of me to stop commenting for a week or two, so that you would have enough time to fully absorb all the wisdom I had shared. But if you are already ready for new doses of Martin’s witty, astute and insightful observations, I am ready too!

Kelly, you are omniscient?!?! Or how is it possible that you know about me pedaling through a 200 mile workout? It’s really scary! OK, I admit I have NOT pedaled through a 200 mile workout yet, but the truth is I’ve been toying with the idea of doing one 200+ mile bike ride sometime in October. Given when the sun rises and sets here in October, it would be a from-dawn-to-dusk ride. We’ll see.

I love that Thoreau quote!!!!

I think I'm going to be leaving behind my bad attitude towards myself. We were at a wedding yesterday & took some pictures & I realized "oh, maybe I'm not as fat as I tell myself I am." I had my pic taken w/my figure skater daughter w/the perfect size and yeah, I wasn't the massive anything that I tell myself I am all the time. I was...yikes...actually in good shape & looking really good in my tight dress. WOOT. Amazingly, I have PMS right now and was able to see past the dysmorphia. So yeah, I have got to leave the negative self talk and self-flagellation behind.

Glynis!! How have you been?? Yes, you should let go of the negative self-talk, as I am...it's a killer...we really need to be more kind to ourselves and stop hating on ourselves....
