Make It Happen.

Hey Kittens!! How are you? Sorry for being MIA in for a couple days- yesterday I was en route to Baltimore for FitBloggin! It was a slightly long day of travel and this city is a bit backed up, what with the Preakness in town, a college graduation, and some baseball game or something (ugh, rolling my eyes as you know I don't watch sports that much!)......anyway, wanted to get a quick post in before I head over to the sessions today. I'm speaking on a panel later with Ms. Andrea Metcalf and then co-hosting a little Sears FitStudio bash this evening.
Busy Busy! But--- as you can imagine, I packed all my workout goodies~ my Valslides, my TRX, my resistance bands and some DVDS.....also stay tuned, I'll be shooting some vlogs while I'm here with some special GUESTS!! Hmmm I wonder who?? Who is also here in Baltimore?
We had dinner last night at a local place and ZOMG!! We had crab cakes that literally were like an out-of-body experience. I don't even wanna GUESS how many calories they had, so today, I'm going EASYYYYY on the diet!! Good Lord, never again will any crab cake compare to Baltimore. ;-0

The best workout for me is hill climbing on a bicycle. There’s nothing like being in great cycling shape and flying up hills out of the saddle. When your heart rate is 180+, yet you are not collapsing. When your thighs are on fire, yet your legs don’t refuse to move. When the hill has a gradient of 5%, yet you are clearly faster than most people on the flat. When you reach the top of the hill with a blurred vision, yet you can carry on at full throttle after taking it easy for just a few seconds.

KELLYGIRL!!!!! I am soooo behind on blog reading BUT now that my assignments and work trips are out of the way i am back! My favourite workout at the moment is Zuzana's Hot Mess Workout. It's 35mins of pure torture but you after you're done, you feel like you can conquer anything!! Check it out, you'll love to hate it. Chelle- you and me both!! Dang! I'm gonna have to try that Hot Mess workout ~ OH and you will LOVE LOVE LOVE her book. Amy just did a one hour "reading" with the author and was blown away by it.....she is sooo insightful!
Martin!! ;-) I probably haven't done a bike hill climb like you but I agree--- I need to get my bike tires fixed because I LOVE tough hills on a bike!
