Did you make progress or excuses today?

Hey Kids. How's your day going? I'm off, have to catch a train to get downtown for a meeting.....it is times like these that I wish I could REALLY be a diva and have a plane take me from here to downtown. I have to leave like 2 hours to get down there. SUCKY. Oh well.

Today, I had NO TIME. But I MADE TIME to vlog/blog/workout. I did only about 50 minutes of Kettlebell training through that awesome DVD I have. (Will share more later, have posted about her before.) I burned 500 calories. I wanted to workout for 90 minutes today and burn 800 calories. The day wouldn't allow for it. So, I got over it. I didn't use that as an excuse to do NOTHING and pig out!!

Enjoy the vlogging below. I think I look pasty white, so I have to be sure to go tanning tomorrow morning. Sorry for the visual. You may want to wear sunglasses.

Dude...you are such a good speaker on camera, this coming from an actor.

I'm injured and still finding a away to get my exercise in. No run? ok..then swim, elliptical, cycle. You have to adapt and find a way:)

Excited to hear about this book. Go K Go.

God that is soooooo frickin' true! I have clients who I try to get to do other stuff outside of what we do at that the studio-because they need more than 2 hours a week of activity...and they come up with so many excuses and the ultimate was a gal last week who's exact words were... "there is always something more important to do" !!!!!!!!!!!!!?????????????!!!!!!!!!!! People just have their own priorities-which I don't care about unless they complain about there lack of progress with their weight loss in the same breath!!!
Sorry, I just had to let that out..-it gets so frustrating sometimes.
I'm very excited to hear about your book! :-)

Rae Rae, OMG I could go ON and ON about excuses!! I have numerous people that have been emailing me for YEARS about "I really gotta lose weight" and the excuses I hear for why the can't find one hour in a day...or even 1/2 hour. But they watch at least 3 TV shows!!! Unreal.

Great blog. I see it all the time, people who make excuses and are allergic to effort. In fact, "effort" seems to be a dirty word these days. "Opportunity is missed by most people because it is dressed in overalls and looks like work." ~Thomas Edison That goes for opportunities to improve one's fitness or physical well-being. Too many people what a magic pill or wand that will do the job for them with no sweat equity involved.

Glynis, I hear you!! They want the "quick fix" which is precisely why so many diet pills and fat burners are sold, right?? What a joke.
