A Peek at Tuesday's Killer Workout: 925 Calories DOWN.

Ok, I already did today's blog post (below this one) but I wanted to share a peek of the workout combo I did today. I know that I personally have discovered a LOT or most of my favorite home workout DVDs or types of workouts (i.e. kettlebells or Tabata) from other bloggers. So hopefully by sharing my "reviews" many of you can discover some new favorites.
Cathe has ALWAYS been a favorite. This woman knows her stuff. Her latest workout DVDs are killer, offering a ton of high intensity cardio. So I did Core Cardio Circuit first- stopping before the cooldown and then going right into Legs & Glutes, skipping the warmup for that and doing probably 80% of the video.
SWEATFEST. I CRUSHED IT. 925 CALORIES BURNED! WOOT!
Here are the previews of the two workouts:

Gah! I LOVE Cathe!!! I think i'll go ahead and get the core cardio circuit and the HIIT ones.
April- the HIIT ones are awesome. And this one, oh yea. I didn't think the kickbox/box/MMA ones were as tough/intense. But these ones - rock. And her oldies.....Butts N Guts is freaking awesome.
You are so hardcore! Love it!
Hey girl, I started adding in power walks to my workouts....as alternative~ because of YOU!! I love it!!!
Hi Kelly- I've been reading your blog/watching your vlogs for about a year, but I think this is my first time commenting. I love your energy and dedication to the goals you set. Definitely an inspiration!
Two things:
1) How are you not absolutely ravenous after workouts that burn the amount of cals you regularly do (or are you?)? I love spinning, but I find once I hit the 500 cal mark or more, I cannot control my hunger and overcompensate (ie- don't lose weight!)
2) I LOVED your hair a few vlogs back when your bangs were pulled back with your workout head band. Are you thinking about growing them out?
Hey Holly!! Thanks so much for commenting!! Woo-hoo and welcome!! ;-) You are too kind, but I'm glad that in some way I can provide some oopmh and motivation!
To answer your question- controlling my hunger has been the biggest thing that doing this ESE/fasting thing has helped me with...in other words the more I can function and get through a day without the eating every few hours and without having protein all the time and recovery shakes.....well, it makes it easier for me to not give in to anything other than REAL hunger. I mean, the bottom line is that in the past- I've been doing killer workouts and eating "healthy" foods but getting NOWHERE with my results or just inching along. I KNEW it had to be how much I was eating.....so now, I am more in touch with real hunger, my stomach has shrunk for sure, so I get full faster.....and after my workouts....yea I'm thinking of food but honestly, I'm usually THIRSTY and water is ok. this is not a magic answer, but as I keep writing/vlogging- it IS a mind game. And eating LESS is the key to weight loss. I know it, I've seen it and now I'm living it.
Yes I am seriously thinking about growing out my bangs....haven't gotten them trimmed yet....HMMM. Still 50/50 to be honest. But thank you- my mom says the same thing, to grow them out!!
DANG! Those Cathe workouts look TOUGH. I have seen them several times but I don't own any. I am a big fan of videos though. I really need to give those a try. They look like they kick your bootie big time. How does she do all of that and talk the whole way through. WOW!
Dawn, I think Cathe is some of the best on the market and these cardio ones are no exception!! ;-)
