Way to end the week.

Yea. I'm not HERE now, but this is the next thing I am planning. It is LONG OVERDUE for a Caribbean vacation. And I'm thinking probably another month or so away but still. Something to visualize as I sweat and sweat and sweat and SWEAT!

I ended the week by doing P90X Plyo. Holy Mother of God!!! This is an hour workout and I burned 610 calories. Funny thing is, I kept noticing that my heart rate was pretty much 145-160 the whole time. And yes, I was a sweaty mess. I guess I think funny....more so just comparing the Cathe HIIT workouts, to this Plyo to Insanity. The Insanity workouts are by far the hardest and your heart rate is UP there, for me that means like 160-180. With Cathe HIIT and P90X Plyo- My heart rate was usually in that 150-160 range. So...I like the idea that I have several variations of cardio...the kickboxing ones are more of the 140-150 heart rate.

My goal is that regardless of what my workout is, I hit a 500 calorie burn. I'd like to shoot for a minimum weekly burn of 2000 calories, ideally shooting more for 3000 or 3500. **Please note this is me working at this intensity to lose the fat I need to. I need to have this much cardio/fat burning in my plan or I will lose too slowly. This, combined with a solid/pristine diet should SHOULD have me really losing fat ideally at 2lbs a week. That would be awesome. THEN when I reach that, I will tone the workouts down, probably substitute the Bikram Yoga for 2 days or something....We will see.

I made a yummy lunch today. Made this spicy "taco" topping for a "Taco Salad". I put 1 package extra lean turkey breast in the pan, cooked it, added 1/2 packet hot taco seasoning, added 1 can Ro-Tel, 1 can Fat Free Refried Black Beans, some garlic salt.....this makes 5 servings of 223 Calories/2g fat/18g carb/32g protein. I put this mess on top of lettuce with 1/4 cup shredded Mexican Cheese Mix (110 Cals), top it with that new Ranch/Salsa dressing (measured, at 60 calories) with some tomatoes and salsa....the whole shebang was: 393 calories/15g Fat/22g Carb/39g Protein...VERY FILLING. Very Yummy.

Post workout I needed that P90X Recovery drink. I love that stuff. DANG!

I answered some questions y'all have been sending me about makeup/skincare on my vlog, so here is the link if you need to place an order: Kelly's Arbonne Website.

Question of the day: What is your question for me?

Have you ever heard of Moving Comfort brand sports bras. They work wonders for handling boobage while working out and they come in nothing but non-racerback styles! I have even worn them as a regular bra many a time. So comfortable and supportive.

I may have commented once but here I am again, since you asked :) I love reading your blog since I am in my "40's". I am always looking to find others that take there health and fitness seriously. I haven't had a lot of success finding them that is why I ended up coming to the blog world.
I also live in the chicago area! :)

Hey Hey Kathi!!! ;-) It IS hard to find others that really take this whole health and fitness thing seriously, I hear you. I find more people that just give up and I feel like some of them, in their early 30's even, look 15 years OLDER than I do....very sad to not try for our best, IMO.
Awesome to hear from you! ;-)
