Happiness in a Hump Day!

Hey Kids! Miss me? I'm sorry- Y'all know I don't vlog or blog on Sundays. But Monday and Tuesday were rather insane. My blasted neighbors kept me up virtually all night on Sunday, so Monday I was DRRRRRAAGGGGING and when I wrapped up my work- I'm not joking, I went to bed around 9pm!

Blah blah blah.

Today's workout was- a little double-up time since I didn't workout yesterday. So I did P90X Shoulders/Arms and then followed that up with some kickboxing. I am telling you- I have had an interior bad attitude today because I'm pissed off about the "state of now" I refer to in my vlog (i.e. where I am right now, what I weigh, my measurements, NOW). I find myself being tempted to give in to that devil voice saying, "Screw THIS, you are so far gone you'll NEVER make a difference...." and just not workout. Well, I think we all know what happens when you do that. Then tomorrow it's soooo easy to do it again, and so on and so on.

I REFUSE. I'm using this being pissed off to put more energy and real effort into my workout and DIET to CRUSH IT.

***Diet people, diet is SO IMPORTANT. Why do you think "comp diets" are so bland and strict? Because THEY WORK. You don't get to 8% body fat having cupcakes! Now, I'm not going for 8% because I'd jump off a ledge without some cheat meals and wine. But I refuse to accept this blobby feeling. Pillsbury Doughgirl I am NOT! ;-)

Keep your food journal- I'm using Fitday.com again and loving it. I am also doing a LOT of street drugs. Just kidding kids. ;-) How do people even BUY drugs anyway? I'm not joking. Like how do these people that do drugs find out where to buy it? It's not like you can go to Illegaldrugs.com and shop anonymously. Yes, I wonder about these things.

Gotta run. Enjoy the randomness.

wow-so much covered...
let's see; ummm
-comp diets don't have to be bland...we use seasonings & vinegars for taste :-)

-people buy drugs on the street corner....

-I drink my water at room temperature always

-and I'm sure you will find a way to work around that hormonal thing because you are "determined, engergetic, fiesty, fabulous," and a whole slew of other words.....(yep-saw it on facebook...just couldn't come up with a word that hadn't been used-that was nice that is LOL!)
cheers hon!

Hey Kelly,

Really like your blog. Not so much the workout portion but all the other stuff. I am more into Ultra running so I don't do a lot of video type workouts.

I noticed you chugged half that bottle of water. I am not sure if you know this but your body can only absorb so much water at a time. Apparently, it is better to take smaller sips more often.

Also, I got my sister a Kindle for Christmas based on your recommendation. She seemed to really like it. I will check to see how many books she has downloaded next time I see her.

Hey Brad- I did not know that about chugging water. Hmmm. I heart my Kindle SO much. I want to start downloading more of the freebies- most people say they've started reading so many new authors and genres with a Kindle. ;-)
Rae- when I said bland, I think I met, not much VARIETY, in other words, comp diets are like, fish, chicken, oats, vegies, and water. No pasta, no fruit. No bread. No Combos etc. - that's what I meant really.
And you are so sweet, always. ;-)
Kelly Girl you know it was YOU that really flipped that "tracking" switch on in me. Big time. I thank you soooooo much for that.

Yes, I'm a lurker! HAHA! I love that! But now I'm posting a comment, so I love that even more!
I suck at drinking water -- I think I need to start wearing a marathon-runner's water belt in order to remember to drink it throughout the day! But when I do drink my water it's ALWAYS room temperature! Go Kelly your blog is great!!!!

Room temp water is the way to chug! Keep it up girl!

1 US gallon = 4 US quarts, yayyyy! You're rocking it.

I drink my water however! I don't need it cold and enjoy it both ways!

Cute hate. Love it.

I totally want to try that water. Thanks for the info.

Hope you get some sleep and your neighbors stop with the noise!

Erica- I had a FULL NIGHT SLEEP last night! Woo-hoo!

I drink mine COLD! I read once that if it's cold it burns more calories? I chug mine like you. I love my water! 6L a day :) That's 1 1/2 gallons ;)

Completely agree with room temperature water. It allows you to gulp it in high quantities when it's room temp.

Robin- I'm the same way....I drink so much more if it's gulpbale!! LOL
