Kelly, You are in the doghouse!!!

Go ahead. Tell me. I'm a bad blogger this week. I told you on Tuesday I'd be out of pocket on Wednesday but NOT THURSDAY TOO. So I put myself in the blogger doghouse. Enough said.

Today's kick butt workout was: P90X Legs & Back (oh I fear the DOMS tomorrow!!!) and Cathe HIIT 30/30. (I need to work up to her 40/20!) Brilliant. Lovely. Spectacular. Fabulous. Sweaty. I swore a lot. That's the sign of a good hard workout; how much I swear. I'm just sayin.

So, I talk in my vlog today about SUGAR. Guys and gals, I am realizing more and more how nasty addictive that is. You give me a little "cheat meal" of 200 Krispy Kremes and I am fantasizing and obsessing about my next fix ALL WEEK LONG. It's too distracting. I am hereby focused on no more sugar. I know the kind of healthy diet I can handle where I'm not SOOOOO obsessed about what I can't eat. When I keep sugary crap out of my diet I tend to be in a far better place. It must be. Amen.

I have a tremendous amount of work to do today. And I'm PSYCHED ABOUT IT. Have I mentioned how much I love my work?? How much each day is more challenging and exciting and I can't wait to be looking back on 12/31/2010 and be SO FREAKING AMAZED by what I have accomplished both professionally and personally and physically. I am so blessed. Seriously. Every day I remind myself of how much I have in my life to give thanks for. Every day is Thanksgiving, only without the stuffing. (Thank God.)

I don't think you should be that hard on you if you are not blogging 1 day - I mean, it's only one single day :-) Although I am very happy to read of you again today :-)

You are right - sugar is a drug. If I start to eat one cookie I could not stop after only one - I had to eat all of them :-)
Nobody would tell an alcohol addict to drink only one small glass of wine per week - and try to have his addiction under control the rest of time. Everyone knows that he should never drink a glass again if he doesn't want to become addicted again.
It's strange that so many diet guidebooks recommend to eat one little piece of chocolat (or something else with sugar) a week. It will not work.
Suggar is a drug but because it's very popular it's not treated like one.

I am still trying to stop my sugar cravings - I can tell you - it's really hard work :-)

I totally hear you on the sugar thing. A couple of weeks into contest prep I don't even think about it, but give me one taste post-comp and I am hooked again! I become that crazy lady that eats all the kids lunch cookies! I don't even want to talk about how many mini eggs I ate this off season...who's bright idea was it to bring them out year round anyway?!?

Ladies, I am in full agreement. I have to make this a top priority to really go sugar free for a week or two, once it is out of my system, I don't have the cravings......it's unbearable!! LOL
