Good MORNING!

I'm here! Sorry about yesterday kids- I have had to be downtown for meetings and dinners every single day this week. This is slightly out of the norm and well, it is essentially an hour there and an hour back. Not usually a big deal but just a lot when it is every day in one week. Crazy! Yesterday I wanted to get back before it was too late because we had a "freezing ice storm" - good times. ;-)
I am SO SO SO SORE from the pull-ups in the P90X Legs & Back DVD. OMG! Seriously! I think in my mind I was thinking that if I wasn't doing FULL-ON pull-ups that I wasn't really working. INCORRECT ASSUMPTION KELLY. Holy Mother of God. I'll be doing those every week. I had a massage last night and I was laughing because I could barely roll over when it was time to FLIP, my core and upper body hurt so much. Yowzers. LOVE IT.
Also- I'm going to work on losing the fakey "diet" foods I've allowed back into my eating. I think they upset my tummy. And since my tummy is a wuss-bag anyway, I don't need anything making it more annoying. Things like Vita-Muffin or the occasional Lean Cuisine. Nope. Done. Over. Next.
Gotta run kids. I have 2 lunch events that I'm committed to (yikes, how did that happen) and then a fundraiser for Haiti downtown, plus a meeting in between. Another day! Finally tomorrow I will have some time to catch up DAYUM.

Today's Workout: Kettlebells and Cathe Butts & Guts. (Clearly in my mind I have forgotten that I was going to do Insanity every other day. That will start tomorrow!)

Nice!! While I complain when i'm sore I secretly think I like it! It lets me know i'm working!!
I can do 7 unassisted pull-ups but I'm close to 260. My goal is at least 15-20 so I post when I hit that mark.

Let's see-pull-ups -in response to your question-not to brag...no really I'm not bragging
:-) ...can't remember if you caught my vid last weekend-I did almost 5 unassisted on the video...then did about 3 more sets of 4 reps...and the last set John helped me with some forced reps. I am aiming for 10 solid pull ups (semi-wide grip) in a row-without stopping. I will get them! :-)
I can't do any unassisted pullups - I am happy that I am able to do real pushups ;-)
I just wanted to let you know that I really love your blog - it's always so inspiring to read and listen from you.
Ariana- thank you so much for your kind words! that makes my day really! ;-) And pushups and pull-ups are HARD and so good for working the whole body. Keep trying!
