Sunday.

I have learned SO much this past year. Actually the past couple of years- after my divorce- it's been a rough road. But with every season of winter in our lives - there WILL come a spring. You have to think about life like that- in order for there to be spring and summer, there must be Fall and Winter- that's when it's cold and the ground is decayed and frozen. Then spring comes. A perfect metaphor for life.

One of the most significant lessons I have learned in life is that everything I need - for happiness, for peace, for success, for motivation, for forgiveness, for kindness- it's all WITHIN ME. When you take full responsibility for your life and where you are~ then you realize that you alone can change it. NOTHING depends on anyone else. Your happiness should NEVER depend on outside factors or on anyone else. When you change your thinking in this manner- you will find more peace, more happiness, more success. You won't find yourself waiting for someone else to do something to make you happy. YOU DO SOMETHING. YOU MAKE IT HAPPEN. When you honestly accept that you can't make others what YOU want them to be, you can finally look at them the way God does. Look for the good in people. You'll find it.

It is all within you. Every day, every week, every month can be better. I certainly don't suggest we won't encounter bumps in the road. But face it, and know that this too shall pass. And yes, what doesn't kill us DOES make us stronger.

P.S. My core is on fire. My back- whoa, did I mention the rear kicks Tracy does in that DVD? And the "canoe" ab thing? DANG!!! ;-)
